IBM FlashSystem 5200

The IBM FlashSystem 5200 is the most compact storage system ever produced by IBM. It is designed to accelerate widespread enterprise deployments through bare metal, virtualization, or containerized servers. These new systems utilize IBM Spectrum Virtualize, IBM Storage Insights software, and end-to-end NVMe protocols to deliver the required performance and functionality for virtually any workload, providing more work with fewer drives and rack space compared to traditional SAS and even traditional flash systems, with latency as low as 50 microseconds. It offers up to 1 PB of usable capacity in just one rack unit, while also employing HyperSwap high availability technology, along with three-site replication, scalability, and data reduction capabilities.
